Welcome to the Library Research Guide for Early Childhood Education at North Central Michigan College Library. This guide contains an overview of library services offered to NCMC students, and tips for identifying, locating, evaluating and using academic resources.

Most library content and services are available on campus and remotely. Library Services

North Central Michigan College Library offers a welcoming place for patrons to study, use technology, obtain academic resources, and obtain reference assistance from a librarian.


The library has computer workstations, study tables, private study carrels, comfortable seating options, and group study rooms.

Printing & Copying

North Central student get 20 black and white prints free per day. Prints and copies exceeding the 20 free/day cost .05 each. Color copies and prints are .50 each.

Interlibrary Loan

The Library offers access to thousands of book, ebook, and periodical titles. However, if there's an item you need and the Library does not have it in our collections, we can obtain the item from another library through interlibrary loan.  Submit your ILL request at
